I found errors in event viewer both in system, and application. My computer is a gateway with windows service pack 3. How do i fix errors in event viewer?

Well their are alot of problems i'll name some for you i mean id numbers and what Source they came from. Hope it helps.

Event Viewer

Problem: Id: Source:
1 7026 Service Control Manager
2 1003 System Error
3 45062 ati2mtag
4 1001 Dhcp
5 7001 Service Control Manager
6 7000 Service Control Manager
7 7011 Service Control Manager

Note: Some of the errors in event viewer are the same error with the same id number So it's kinda pointless to display it twice.

Also let me know if you need the category of the errors.

sorry it didn't come out the way i plan it. Note the first number is the problem number, and secound number is the error number and the last tells you what source it came from. For intance 1 7206 service control manger. The 1 represent the problem number, the 7206 represent the error id, and Service Control Manager represent the source. Hope this helps.

Your best bet is to Google these error messages and see what turns up. For example, Googling "1001 Dhcp" leads to a large number of hits, the first being this Microsoft Technet article, which gives a lot of advice.

In my experience you will always get some error messages in the event logs; if the computer is working OK I tend to ignore them (presuming I can't find an answer by Googling).
