Need help reconfiguring my SSD

I finished a new build and tried installing Win 8.1 Pro only to find out the license I used is an upgrade only not for clean installs. I tried to install Win 7 and now it says it can't install it on any of the partitions on the SSD. Do I just blow away all the partitions and start over or do I need to wipe the SSD?

I'd do both and freshly install windows 7 and re-create the partitions later.

Ok, what's the best way to wipe the SSD?

Windows will give you the opportunity to do that prior to install if you choose fresh installation rather than upgrade.
