In general, the best card for $100 is the Radeon 6770. After rebate, you can get a Radeon 6790 for that price. For just a little more, you can get a Radeon 6850, which many people consider worth it. Each one improves on the previous by roughly 15%.

But give the rest of your system details as a 6770 may or may not be enough depending on what you have.

AR that's the best performance per dollar of any card listed so far (the 460 768MB is comparable to the 6790 in speed).

Honestly in the $100-$150 range AMD has better options, which is why I listed them. But yes, there is also Nvidia if you're into their unique features.

it does not supports DX11 but i think it really does not matters for a "casual gamer"
it will easily beat 5770,6770,6790 and gts 450.

Not really. It will usually (but not always) slightly beat the 6770 but a GTX 260 does not beat a 6790 (a 6790 is around 5830/4890 speeds which almost always beat a GTX 260).

Never thought of upgrading at least your RAM? Seems to me like your system can bottleneck your GPU.
