Need Help setting up second monitor

Hello, I have the GTX 1060 ( https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Support-Graphics-03G-P4-6162-KR/dp/B01KU2CIIY) and I am trying to attach a second monitor. However, the card only has one output port but the card is supposed to support multiple monitors. How can I set up the second monitor?

It was 1xDVI-D (Dual Link), 1xHDMI & 4xDisplayPort for connecting to multiple monitors. Which monitors are your trying to hook up to it?

I have one already connected via DVI to my graphics card. I am trying to add a second one, which only had VGA and DVI inputs. However, my card only has a DVI port. I plugged the second monitor into the motherboard with a VGA cable but it says undetected.

How do I attach the second monitor to the card? The card only has one 1 DVI slot

Did the GTX 1060 comes with a DVI to VGA adapter? If so then you can use that to connect it. It should like like one of these...

But there is only 1 port. How do i connect 2 cables to it?

I'm sorry, I misunderstood what you were saying. So if your monitors only support VGA & DVI then (1) monitor is hooked up DVI-DVI while (2) monitor will need to be connected with a DVI to HDMI adapter.

isnt it HDMI to DVI? because the card has an HDMi port while the monitor has the DVI port
