I plan on upgrading completely and getting the 1080 ti Poseidon and getting a custom loop, Not sure if Ill get the 7700k or the 7820x... But yea I dont even know where to start, how to match fittings and tubes, I have an idea but Im very lost. What parts exactly would I need? Hard tubing is fine

I'm afraid it's too much for a thread like this. You can find all parts and how to put them together on water cooling manufacturers sites. Basically, you need a radiator with fans, a cooling body for CPU and eventually GPU, a pump and a reservoir which may include pump. than you need pipes and hoses to connect everything. They also have complete kits but some knowledge of piping and hydraulics is required. one slip, one drop of water and everything may be screwed up.
