Hello,
I'm planning on upgrading a PC I have, I have a $500 budget, but already know what I'm getting for the Ram and graphics card, so about a $300 budget for a good mother board and processor, I'm fine with AMD or INTEL but I want something that is a little more powerful than a FX 8370 but not a FX 9000 because I don't have liquid cooling. I'm looking for a processor that can handle 1866mhz ram and a motherboard that can match the bus speed of the processor. Any good suggestions?

I had someone answer on a different thread saying to get a 6th get 6500, but I need it to be able to take standard DDR3 ram due to what I already have and budget concerns, is there any 4-5th gen processors with similar specs to the 6500 within the same price range

Please bare in mind that if you have Win.7 you'll have to purchase a new license as it is tied to your old motherboard, this is not a problem with 8.1 and 10 as long as you have the product key.
