I know you guys probably hate these threads and I'm sorry but I really don't know anything. So I'm trying to build a single gaming/streaming computer. I know a lot of people say to get a i7 and like a gtx 1080 but I honestly don't know. I'm not gonna be streaming a lot of newer games. It's mostly gonna be Dota 2, LoL and maybe some RB6 Siege if i can. I would like to play newer games but won't be streaming them. I would like to have 2 monitors (which also needs to be in the budget). They don't need to be the best monitors just some to get me by. I do not need keyboard, mouse, headphone or mic.

Approximate Purchase Date: By the end of the month.
Budget Range: Max 1800ish. I can go a little bit above but really don't want to.
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming/Streaming
Are you buying a monitor: Yes 2
Do you need to buy OS: Yes
Location: Chicago, Il
Overclocking: I don't actually know how to overclock but if i have to learn i will if it needs to be done.
Additional Comments: If i can get a decent White NZXT case with window that would be great. Maybe even some white on the inside I don't know if that possible.

Thank you in advance. I really appreciate what you guys do here.

Solution
I would go with either the first or second one. I would only go with the first if you plan to never overclock. If there is a chance you will want to at some point then go with the second. It would suck to have to upgrade/replace things just because you decided that you wanted to overclock.
Ok, one big question to think about is what resolution are you wanting to be gaming at? If you are going with 1080p at 60hz, a GTX 1060 6gb will do you. If you are going with 1440p or 1080p 144hz, then you'll probably want a GTX 1070 or GTX 980ti. If you want 4k, GTX 1080. With that being said, if you are gaming and streaming, like you said, you'll probably want an i7. You could go the less expensive route and get an H series board with a non-K i7, 16gb RAM and the appropriate video card and probably come in considerably less than your target cost.

I would like to play in 1080p 144hz i think.

Ok, then you could take my build and switch the 1060 for a 1070 (least expensive, non Founders Edition) and change the monitors for 144hz ones. I noticed that the higher refresh rate monitors are much more expensive, so you might just want to buy 1 144hz for gaming and a 60hz for your secondary monitor. That would save you some money and if you aren't planning on gaming on multi monitors then there would be no reason to have 2 or 3 high end monitors to just say I have them.

So if i went something like this would that work better? I changed to a 1070 like you said and got 1 144hz monitor cause no point in having 2 like you said. I believe this is the 1070 you were talking about, it's the cheapest one but not the mini. Also lets say in the future would i be able to run 3 monitors? If not still ok.

Yeah, that should be perfectly fine and your 1070 could easily run 3 monitors. If you just wanted extra monitors for streaming/info and not 3 way gaming, then you could always connect your 2 side monitors to the motherboard graphics ports to take a little strain off of the video card. Not totally necessary, but it does help the video card stay a bit cooler from not having to work as hard.

So i went to put everything in the cart cause i will be buying in about a week maybe 2 and the mother board is out of stock. Do you have another suggestion on this.

Well idk either lol so what cooler would you recommend cause i don't wanna mess anything up.

I have used several of the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO and they are simple and pretty effective, not to mention inexpensive. I've heard many other people talk about the Cryorig H7 coolers also saying many good things. Noctua makes some very good coolers, but they are pricey. I personally would go the the 212 EVO or the Cryorig H7.

Well i went with the Cryorig H7 just cause its white. Lol. But thanks for all you help. I have like 3 different builds that I'm gonna keep looking at and see which way i wanna go. I got a few more days before i start ordering everything. So don't wanna jump on the first build. But thanks alot man.

I would love to do a white build but it's to hard to find everything white and these are the 3 builds im looking at right now.
This is the build you recommended i just put 2 144hz monitors. Idk why just because lol
