Need help with building a good all round computer

Hey everyone i need help with building a computer. Can someone please check over my parts and see if they all work together and what parts could be replaced with better ones around the same cost.

i will have to think about the graphics cards and how badly i need them because the price difference is quite a lot.

DUDE its ok the Phantom or the fractal are perfect. Cooler Master Storm Enforcer is ugly.


Ok so do you want 1080p HIGH settings or 1080p ultra? I would say just get the 280x by asus cause it goes with your build so SO WELL.

Also a bit off topic, I got the sapphire toxic R9 280x but should I have gotten the 770? Toxic seems better but a lot of peeps have been talking about the 770.

I have the 770 myself. It's a matter of opinion. Some swear by amd. My reasoning was that I know I will go sli soon, and amd crossfire seems buggy still in comparison. I'm going to go to bed now before the amd fans get here!

finalized on that build:
dropped my ram to 8gbs and dropped the graphics card to the 270x i don't think i will be using all of the capabilities the 280x has to offer (sorry mirakledba) and i am sure the 270x will last me quite a while and if it doesnt i still have the option to go higher dues to the motherboard capabilities.

Thats fine Looks pretty good! So it would have made sense to add an SSD and put your editing software on it but thats fine. Also if you dropped the ram to 8GB, would have been nice to keep the 280x but it suits your needs 16gb is good for what you will be using it for but you added a notcua which IS HUGE BUT COOLS amazinlingy. Personally I liked your otherbuild ( THE ONE I PUT ;') ) With teh fractal case and all but its still a really awesome build

AND NO I am not always here waiting for you, i have a toolbar that tells me when i get a message on here XD

Really dude? Lowering a budget for BOOZE? So you are lowering the spec of a beast PC to get drunk and intoxicate yourself? I dont understand people. BOOZE IS ALL SH*T. 🙁
