Question Need help with Cherry MX switches

Made an account just for this question. Recently I was trying to pull off a cheap keycap (a bit tight) on my Corsair Strafe with red leds but the the small red thingy goes off with the keycaps ( still cant believe how LOL). So just asking is there a way to put the thing back or should I send back the keyboard for warranty. Just bought this keyboard earlier this year so any help and opinions will be greatly appreciated.

Warranty wont cover that, since it was end user damage, not a defect in the product.
Your only real solution is buying a replacement switch, which means you will lose the LED:
