Need help with CPU

Hi guys.

I am wondering if someone could tell me the difference between these two Intel Core i7's and why is the first one cheaper than the second one.

I was going to put the first one in my first build but I want to make sure that there isn't any performance difference between the two.

One is a BX80646I74790K that comes with a heatsink and one is a BXF80646I74790K that does not come with a heatsink. Many times the no heatsink version have a shorter warranty but I could not find that information about this particular chip.

So would the BXF80646I74790K have the same performance? I also wouldn't use the heatsink as I will be installing the Cooler Master Hyper 12 Evo

Yes it would have the same performance. They are the same chip the only difference is if a heatsink is included.

Ok I will go with the non heatskink version because I am getting either a Cooler Master Hyper 12 Evo or a Noctua nh-d15.
