it didnt come with 1156 or 1155 mounting kits. i think his was really old

i would probably have to pay more for the delivery and all than the Cooler is worth.

Do ye know what i can do with the Case fans? the pins don't match... the case has these pins ( http://i43.tinypic.com/34yd05l.jpg ) but the case has plain 3 sticking out. I can't get a photo and don't really know how to explain. If ye can help me with that, i would be really greatful.

You have the Carbide 500R right? The front two and one side fans plug into the fan controller cables that come in from the top front. Then, that harness plugs into a four-pin molex from your PSU.

The rear case fan plugs into any header on your mobo.

Yeah, the front two + the side can all plug into the fan controller cables. Then the rear in the mobo.

I don't understand what ye mean with the case Fans. I have the corsair 500R. where do i plug in the fron and side fan? i ahve the back one on the MOBO, but don't know where to put the front and side.

PLease help me. thank you.

There is a bundle of cables that come in from the top front (fan control, USB, audio, power, reset, HDD/SSD activity light). There are three connectors on that bundle that fit the connectors on the two front fans and the side fan (they only fit one way and they're the only thing the fans can plug into.

Then, you plug the four-pin molex from that bundle into a molex from your power supply. That's how you power the fans and control the speed with the 3-position switch.

The CPU cooler, I'll just let it go (for now atleast)... atleast is wasn't something worth like £200 that i made my mistake on! 😛 I'll remember to check the socket type on my next cpu cooler in future!

Ye know the razer black widdow keyboard, when i try to open the settigns in it (with the program), it says that "no razer blackwiddow connected. Application will close now". Any idea why that comes up? I have tried plugging the keyboard into different usb ports but the results are the same. I have also tried to reinstall the program a few times.

Ohh, the temperatures are great in the case! my brother has been playing games on it for a few days now and the fps are stayign at 60 and the GPU temperatures are about 30oC! 😀


I hope ye can just help me out with the Keyboard and then everything will be perfect (except the cpu cooler but that doesn't matter too much atm)! 😀

Tried it... It didn't work... I got the latest firmware and driver... it didn't work.. Any other ideas? 🙁

Got it to work! What i did was ran it as administrator and the error didn't come up! Thank you very much Everyone! the computer is much better than i expected it to be! The CPU cooler, i will figure something out myself.

Once more, Thank you all, i would not have done it without ye.


BTW, last thing (i promise), what is the 1394 wire for? i think it came with the case... i have no-where to plug it into the motherboard. :/ is the cable needed?

thats firewire. if your motherboard doesnt have firewire than that port on the case is useless. its not like firewire is that good anyways
