Hello everyone,

I am currently looking to upgrade my GPU as my current gpu (gtx 1070) is dying out on me. here are my PC setup-
CPU - r7 2700x on h100i v2
MOBO- x470 asrock tachi
Ram - 4 x 8gb Tridentz rgb
PSU- corsair RMX 750
storage- 2x 1tb wd blue and 1tb samsung 970 evo nvme
monitor - Acer predator XB271HU and Asus PG348p ( note: i used only one of those monitor when gaming and prefer acer monitor mostly)

GPU i am interested in - GTX 1080 ti used / RTX 2070 super / RTX 2080. Can you help me which GPU among this will suffice my needs. I game on QHD and play almost all types of game. And also i cant afford RTX 2080 ti hahahhaa.

Thanks and hoping for your reply.

Solution
I can afford rtx 2080 not the 2080 ti version. Also i m from india where everything is way overprice. 2070 Super and 2080 are almost similarly price here
If the 2070s and 2080 are close to each other in terms of price, then it's ideal to go for the 2080. 2070s and 2080 are pretty much the same cards, use the same amount of power, and 2080 is about 10-15% faster. With a 2700x however, you won't notice much of a difference anyway.

If you can't afford a 2080, go for a 2070 Super. And well, depends on where you live as well. Because RX5700 XT is very close to the performance of the 2070 Super and cheaper. For me I went with the 2070S because where I live, a price of a good 5700XT (Red Devil, Nitro+) is pretty much the same as an entry level 2070 Super model ($500). In the US however, 5700XTs go for as low as 370 bucks..I saw some xfx 5700xt on Amazon. But usually they are around $400 for the base model and entry level ones. So in the end it is up to you. If you do wanna get the 5700XT, get a high end model like the Nitro+ or Red Devil, and Gigabyte Gaming OC is quite decent among the entry level models. So if you have to spend over $450 for a 5700xt, then getting the 2070 Super over it would kinda make sense.

Why do you think the 1070 is dying? I had a similar issue with bad artefecing on games with a MSI 1070 Armor.
I replaced it with a RX5700XT and have been largely unimpressed by it.
2070S should suffice for 1440p I would think.

I have GTX 1070 gaming X, the screen goes off when i start playing games, i dont get BSOD but instead black screen with some weird pixel graffiti. this happens when i try to run higher resolution videos. I have flash the BIOs and changed thermal paste and pad on it. nothing seems to make any difference.
