I have a motherboard that i bought for my gaming rig and it says in the manual that i need to install pled+, pled-, pwrbtn#, gnd, hdled+, hdled-, gnd (again), reset# and another gnd. The thing is, my pc case only has reset sw, power sw and hdd led. Also there is a 4 pin speaker. Where do I put the cables in?

Solution
In your manual, see p. 6, Iten 14 for the location of the mobo Front Pnale header at lower right of the mobo. See p. 19 for details of that header.

The wires coming from the front of your case VERY likely end in a connector on the end of TWO wires for each of four connections. One pair of wires will have a label on it for PWR SW, another for RESET SW. Each of those connectors had holes to fit over for TWO pins beside each other. Now, polarity does not matter for those two Switch connectors, so you plug the PWR SW one into the two adjacent mobo header pins marked for PWRBTN# and GND (upper center right). The RESET SW connector goes to the adjacent pins marked RESET# and GND at lower right. You don't actually connect anything to the GND...

reset switch to reset# and power sw to pwrbtn.

The RESET SW connector goes to the adjacent pins marked RESET# and GND at lower right. You don't actually connect anything to the GND pin at bottom center.

The connections for the two LED lights DO require proper polarity, and they will have + and - indicators on the connector. So the one marked for PLED (+ and -) goes to the upper left pin pair, making sure you get the polarity correct. (This is the front panel indicator for Power.) The connector marked for HDDLED (+ and -) goes to the lower left pair.

If you connect either of the LED leads with the wrong polarity there will be no damage - the LED on the front just will not light up ever. If that happens, just reverse that particular connector on the mobo header to fix it.

Back on p. 6, see item 15 for the header that combines the speaker and intrusion switch connections; see the top of p. 20 for details. The connector on the end of the pair of wires to the case speaker is wide enough for 4 pins, but it actually has only two wires coming to its two ends. It fits over the upper set of four pins on this mobo header, and note that one pin is marked for the + connection. Unless your case came with a chassis intrusion switch connector, ignore the rest of this header.
