I've spent quite a while searching for some answers to my questions on these forums and couldn't find any. Currently I am paying for internet up too 1.5 Mbps provided by Telescape Communications. I've heard that its plenty enough for online gaming but when i play with my WiFi on i get high ping(over 200 ping). I have 2 smart phones connected and streaming YouTube. When i turn my WiFi off using a button on the back of my router my ping drops down to 60-50 when playing LOL and BF4 on North American servers. My question would be... "Do i need a router that can support multiple devices or would i just need faster internet??"
I've taken the liberty of doing some speed test with the WiFi ON and OFF.
WiFi ON- Download Speed of 0.69Mbps...Upload speed of 0.31Mbps
WiFi OFF- Download Speed of 1.04Mbps ... Upload Speed of 0.33Mbps

Ok well what type of internet connection would i need for more than 2 devices streaming nexflix or youtube while im gaming?? And could you explain what banthwidth and Mbps means?

I'd consider getting 10Mbps or more.

Mbps = megabits per second. Or how much data per second

Bandwidth = pretty much the same definition. How much data per second you can download.

Google is your friend for basic definitions like this.

Thank you for you help and 10Mbps should be good enough for playing video games with less that 50 ping with 2 devices connected? or is that a minimum?
