Core i7 920
Corsair 1600 3x2g
Asus rampage II extreme (no bios updates)
Corsair 1000hx psu
saphire 4870x2
antec 1200
swifttech watercooling
Alright, So the problem at hand
after changing my bios settings either decrease or increasing my computer will shut down and will not turn on, very few times does this happen. To get a better idea, I would change my bios, select save changes & leave bios, the computer would shut down and should restart, but it doesn't turn back on. I would press the power button and everything would light up for a second then shut off.
The way I use to get it back on, I would open her up and select bios 1 or 2 on the LCD poster using the control on the motherboard. Well now the lcd poster is broken due to a bad accident with a friend while rearanging the watercooling system. I just had my first experience without the LCD poster, I finally got her running by getting lucky on the power button lol, I now realize how bad my issue is.
I was searching google and found some posts about a "cold boot" issue but the problems didn't relate to mine. I think it may be a short in the motherboard, maybe bad settings with the voltages, I'm running on 2.8 with stock volts. worst case scenario would be RMAing the mobo.
Any solution you may have would be much loved and if you need further information plz ask.
