[SOLVED] need help with my new RTX 2080 ti

i need help with my new rtx 2080 ti that just came in today i just installed it and the drivers but 2 fans wont spin all 3 spin on boot up for a quick second but when i use msi after burner one fan at the back well spin but not the other two did i get a bad card?

It would be easier to just RMA the card.
If you ramp the fan slider in Afterburner all the way to 100% do they all spin? If no, then RMA the card.

Any other fan controller software installed? If no, then RMA the card.

There is another option to remove the cooler off the card and make sure the fan power connectors are secured, but I think it'll be easier to just RMA the card.
Unless, you already know how to do that... there are videos that show you how, but it's at your own risk. I think you should just RMA the card if the answers to the first 2 questions are 'no'.

i downloaded precision X1 and ramped up the fans to 50% to see if they all spin and they do but when it comes to msi after burner i'll do the same thing but than only one fan well spin and the rest wont move

It may not start spinning fans until certain temperature is reached.

i had a simmilar problum if the connector for the fans is expossed dissconect and reconnect also try lightly pull on the fan outwards and inwards with anti static gloves while its on till you fell a bit of force

thanks but it think i might of figured this one out i downloaded precision x1 and idk it did a flash firmware update? i manual controlled the fans from there and they all span than i turned off precision x1 to see how it did on its own gamed for awhile and than i saw they started all spinning

but for some reason the card hates MSI after burner when i use it the same thing with the fan happens 1 will spin and the others wont i find that weird
