Need help with network

Hi all,
i need some help solving a network problem...
Here's our situation:
we have 5 ip's comming in (yes 5) one for digital TV on demand and 4 ip's for computing
those 4 ip's are connected to 4 different routers. I have one NAS-drive attached to router 4 en a wireless printer connected to the same router. Nas-drive and printer are only accessible when user is connected with router 4.

Question: can i make the Nas-drive and printer accessible for ALL user?
Expl: when a user is connected with router 1, can he access the nas/printer on router 4?

thats a very fast respons....

no they are not, all 4 routers have a different outgoing ip with wired pc's en wireless laptops connected to them

Can you map out the setup of the routers and modem with the printer and nas?

Connect all routers and all wired PC and the NAS to one switch. Assign static IP addresses to all devices and the corresponding router address as the standard gateway. This way you get one local network for the NAS and printer connectivity plus dedicated internet connections. You can even use a working line as backup for a dead one by changing the gateway.

modem handling 5 IP's connected to 8 port switch, from there running 5 cables to (1) digibox for tv and (2,3,4,5) to the 4 different routers.

i hope i understand this correctly....
connect the nas to switch and disable LAN-dhcp on all routers giving all users a static ip?
then all users still have the separate outgoing router adress...ok
but then i'm a bit lost, so please explain

And I'm lost too now! One modem handling 5 IPs and five separate routers? Strange setup. I expected five separate ISPs behind the routers.

Glad I'm not the only one. I was lost after the second post from Eerke haha. Which is why I asked for a setup. But Eerke didn't make that very descriptive.

hi all,
i try to give it another go....
the device that i called modem is a box that's handling a number of signals. it has phonelines (2) connected to it and has a single (one) utp connector. From that connection runs a cable to our 8-port switch. From the switch are 5 cables running to (1)digibox for tv and 4 cables running to our 4 different routers (they all get separate dynamic ip's from our provider).
al is working great for getting on the net, but not for accessing our nas and printer.
the printer is wirelessly connected with one of the routers and only accesible when user is connected with that same router.
The nas-drive is also (wired) connected to the same router as the printer.
LAN... dhcp is enabled on all routers, handling all connections. (we have a lot of guest-user comming and going here)

now, the big question...
can i make the nas-drive and printer accessible for all users, regardless on witch router they are connected to


hope this is more clear to understand, since english is not my native language...

Let's start with greetings from Hamburg / Germany
All Routers and devices on the same network should solve your problem. That even works with DHCP enabled on the routers, if you assign separate ranges. Depending on the number of private IPs you need, use a "bigger" network with a 255.255.240.0 mask. Thank you for this information. It started me thinking... I checked all routers (2xD-Link, 2xHercules) and came to the conclusion that the two Hercules routers need to be replaced because they do not have the required options in the settings.
D-link allows speciale rules for my problem, so my guess is that i will be able to solve te problem in a couple of days...
