currently i'm saving up to build a ryzen based system that can both play games and host a few servers mostly ark servers.
what i'm wondering is will this build work to both play games and host a server at the same time?
i wont be building this pc until sometime in 2018(hopefully the ryzen refresh is out by then) because i am on Social security so i need to save up for like 8 months b4 i can build it.

Solution
The B350 motherboard overclock quite well and unless you need a certain that only the X370 has there's little reason to get one. Gigabyte makes really good boards so there definitely a good option.

i imagine by the time i actually build (around june/july)this the ryzen refresh will be out prolly not the next gen tho

im only curious if this setup as it stands would be able to host 2+ ark servers, game, stream all at the same time(the server are high rate/20+mods)

As is the build looks fine, plenty of CPU power, RAM & as long as you have a decent GPU it will game well. There are parts you can save money on such as changing the CPU to the 1700, using the stock AMD Wraith cooler & going with a B350 motherboard.

Well have to see how things look next year as there will probably be a Ryzen refresh but also Coffeelake refresh as well.

i ment to change the cpu over to the 1700 b4 i posted this but i forgot to .ill be getting the 1700 since it 296 at micro center(that includes the tax) im very weird about b350 mobo idky i jsut dont like mopst of them..the x370-f has had good reviews plus its from asus which is why i was going with it vs say the gigabyte gaming k5 or k3
