need help with video clips

You know those video clips that people host online, and all u gotta do is go to that site, and hit play, and wait for it to load and buffer. The clip uses WMP, and when i try to watch these clip, it would load but it would not play the move. What can be the issue???

have you tried updating your windows media player? or it could just be a bad video clip. Have you tried playing any other video besides the one that wont play?

Right click on a blank space on your desktop and select Properties. Then select the Settings tab. Click on Advanced and select the Troubleshoot tab. Grab the slider bar and slide it all the way to the left to disable Hardware Acceleration. We have this problem with our laptops at work and that seems to do the trick.
