Ok so i am getting ryzen 9950x3d (gaming and work: 3d rendering/modeling, 3d assets creation, animation etc,) with x870e phantom nova motherboard.
So i need 128gb of ram and i read that amd cpus including 9950x3d can't handle 4 chips of ram that well. So i guess i will have to get 64x2 ddr5 kit.
My question is, which ram kit (64x2 ddr5) do i get. Its my first time going with amd cpu so i am kind of noob at that. I am also searching on google as well but i thought i should ask here as well.
I will appreciate the help, thanks.

Have you picked a motherboard yet? If so, check the QVL list of the motherboard.
If not, pick a MSI board whose QVL contains the memory that match your need.

I have mentioned the motherboard as well, its Asrock, x870e phantom gaming Nova. I went with this motherboard because m.2 slots doesn't share lanes with the gpu and i can use all of the 5 m.2 slots without losing performance on the gpu.

The speed is low, i want at least 6000MT. Even amd is recommending 6000mt ram for 9950x3d. There is another i found on a motherboard qvl list is Adata AX5U6400C3248G-BLABRBK (compatible chips 2, overclockable, expo, DS), its 6400mt CL32. So i guess i will have to go with 48x2 (96Gb) instead of 128Gb.
I don't know why there are these issue with amd side of things. With Intel i never had these type of issues. Only if Intel released a good chip for both gaming and productivity.

4800c40 and 6000c28 don't differ when they are paired with 9950x3d for gaming. It differs when handling productivity tasks.

That’s not true. The faster RAM will bring better performance in games as well, especially for the 1% low fps. The X3Ds benefit less from this because they don't need to communicate with the memory as often but they still do and faster speed and tighter timing can definitely improve min fps and reduce stuttering.
