Can someone help me build a system for under 1000, does not need to be a gaming system. I AM NOT A GAMER! repeat NOT a GAMER don't need the latest and greatest graphics card for games.

Approximate Purchase Date: 2 months

Budget Range: (e.g.: 300-400) $1000

System Usage from Most to Least Important: watching/ripping dvds, surfing net, watching movies

Are you buying a monitor: NO

Parts to Upgrade: (e.g.: CPU, mobo, RAM) PSU, Graphics card, hs/f (if needed) (don't need case, keyboard/mouse, or hard drive)

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg

Location: USA

Parts Preferences: NO preference

Overclocking: NO

SLI or Crossfire: doesn't matter

Additional Comments: would like something that will last several years , Would like a mobo that has the most sata ports possible, and Psu with the most sata power cables.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Upgrading because my mobo has crapped the bed and 1155 chipset is done.

Thank you in advance for your help

The change that I would make, if possible, in the next 2 months is to replace the cpu and mobo with an i3 8100 and a H370 mobo.
