Hey guys, so soon I'm planning building my first pc, and maybe you guys have some suggestions to change some parts, thank you :).

Ram: G.Skill tridentz rgb 2x8gb, 3000mhz
Psu: EVGA GQ 650W, 80 PLUS Gold, Full modular

This is just a note and someone must correct me if im wrong. I think that if you pair those RGB sticks with that motherboard you will not be able to control the LED color of the ram sticks.

Yeah there is, but im planning to buy this one ASUS ROG STRIX B350-F , thoughts ?

because rgb gives more fps

lol XD i wish it works that way XD
from what i heard Asus had pretty good motherboard quality, i think it's good enough, if u're willing to spent for the premium pricing (especially since u likes RGB)

Haha 😀, yeah my pc most likely gonna be on top of my table so I want it to look good 😀, don't know tho about that mobo, i saw that gpu covers that rgb stuff on mobo 🙁.

I'm starting to get really confused on which mobo i should actually get 😀

Now here's a question which applies to my situation as well...this is my current config:

CPU: AMD Fx 6300
Cooler: Cooler Master 212 Hyper Turbo
MOBO: ASUS M5A97 r2.0
GPU: Sapphire Dual-X R9 270X (keeping it for now and planning to upgrade it to RX 580 when it gets cheaper)
RAM: 1x Corsair Vengeance 8GB (1600Mhz); 2x Corsair Vengeance 4GB (1333Mhz)
PSU: Corsair VS450
Case: http://www.circlect.com/gaming-accessories/gaming-cabinets/elegantorblack.html
SSD: Kingston SSD Now UV400 240GB
HDD: Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RP

So if I want to keep the gfx card for now, what would be the best upgrade considering I only game casually at 1080p and dont need crazy 3-digit FPS (60 FPS is fine)??

uh u gonna need a whole new rig if u want to do generation leap
the PSU is bad
RAM won't be usable on the new platform
but the cooler can be used again

but if u can find FX-8350 at a cheap price, get that, it'll work fine even if u upgrade to RX 580 later

but one thing i definitely sure, change that PSU when u upgrade
get something from tier 3 at very least
