Looking at a new build. Rough idea can be found here https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/DWadds/saved/Cc3n23.
I already have the hard drive and m2 along with the fans I'll be pulling out of my old system.
I'll be using it for 4k gaming and won't be doing too much overclocking. Also I don't care about RGB, not against it but it doesn't factor into me decisions.

Still have a few decisions to make.

Motherboard
MSI AMD B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI£200
Gigabyte B650 AORUS Elite AX £227
MSI MPG B650 Carbon WiFi£260
ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-E GAMING WIFI,£290

PSU
The shift being an interesting concept but not sure how much value it will add.
Be quiet 1000W£150
Corsair RM1000x Shift Series£190

As for RAM was looking at getting 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) with low latency as I might need to do a small amount of coding on it.

Any thoughts on the case as I just saw this in a youtube video and thought it looked decent.

Apologies for the multi post. Thought requesting feedback for a brand new build should go in another section. When I initially posted I was going to buy just the GPU then build a new system later. Change of plan as my current system is failing.

Does the ASRock suffer from a sagging issue?

What makes the Thermaltake Toughpower better than the Be quiet?

All large cards which are more than 300mm long and triple slot will have this issue.

Thats why many big cards come with an anti-sag bracket.

I chose the thermaltake for the price. And i dont know which model in be quiet you have chosen. If it is the Pure power 12, You can read the explanation of the superscript in the tier list website.

Both be quiet and thermaltake come with 10 year warranty. Both offer good performance, so why not go with the cheaper one?

Sag is lesser issue if you ask me. I have 7900 xt and I had to choose powercolor reference or asrocks one and while I was checking I found that ASRock is running kind a hot on hot spot... IDK about XTX dou...

^ its the top of the line card for any radeon GPU model pretty much. Kinda like the EVGA FTW3 or STRIX for Nvidia cards.

It used to be so that a few generation back you had a lot of overclocking headroom and can eek out 200mhz with OC.

Now a days the models are binned and the high quality chips go into the top tier cards. So if care about 5 to 10 fps more than the reference cards, go get the Nito+.

Ok, so I've made alterations based on comments here and some Linus and Jay2cents videos and I think I've come close to a conclusion. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/DWadds/saved/k7QDqs
Just need to decide whether a 1050w psu is enough or should I go with a 1200. Basically I want to be able to make a less upgrades in the future, i.e spend the extra money on the cpu fan, psu and case now and not need to replace them in the future.

Hey, your part list is private.

If you're still using a 7900xtx and Ryzen CPU, there is no need for a PSU larger than 1,000w, you'll only be using half of that anyway.

Might i suggest this modified list:

The Speedster merc has a decent oc of 2615mhz for a decent price. its better than the pulse.
1 additional fan for rear exhaust.
Not top of the line aircooler, but more than enough for the 7800X3D.

So I ordered all the parts yesterday except for the Case and CPU fan. Went with the Nitro+ because of Sapphire reputation and customer service. Although I'm slightly annoyed at the processor now being £36 cheaper on amazon now but never mind, got it from a better company anyway.

What made you switch from suggesting Thermaltake to Corsair on the PSU?
