need some help with new ram

hey guys,

Recently, i noticed that my pc is too slow. So i decided to buy a ram. I have a 4gb hyperx 1600mhz and my motherboard (gigabyte h81m-h) has only 2 slots. I wanted to upgrade it by buying a 8gb hyperx 1866mhz (12gb total), but i don't know if it'll work.

You will never know until you try. Theoretically it should work but at 1600MHz. Put slower in first slot and reset BIOS.
