hey guys. i want to buy a gtx 1080 soon and upgrade from gtx 980 and i have the i7 2600K OC to 4.4GHZ.
some said ill have a bottleneck and other's told me im fine.
should i replace my Motherboard and CPU And RAM? it's worth it? how much performance gain ill get?

That CPU is fine. I'd say you'd be very unlikely to bottleneck your 1080 with that CPU. Most games are GPU bottlenecked. Any game that is CPU intensive is going to bottleneck on the CPU regardless, and you'd be no worse off than someone with Haswell or Skylake. Skylake might be a bit better IPC wise (around 10%), but that small difference isn't worth ponying up for an entire platform upgrade.
