So, I got a PC as a payment from someone who owed me some money.
It's a bit outdated PC but in a really great condition. Nevertheless, it has a 7-year-old cheap generic 600W PSU that I'm afraid could kill some components if it dies. So I want to replace that PSU to avoid any issues but don't really know what to look for. Any specific recomendations?
PC specs
Board: Gigabyte GA Z270 HD3P
CPU: Intel i5 7600K
GPU: GTX 970 4Gb Asus OC Strix edition
RAM: DDR4 2x8Gb Corsair Vengeance 3000 Mhz (running @2133 bc of CPU limit)
HDD: 1Tb Toshiba
SSD: LiteOn ECE-240NAS
PSU: Thermaltake 600W Generic TR2600NL2NC
I'm planning to upgrade the GPU and maybe the CPU in the future, so I think that with 650W or 700W I should be fine.
Ed.: Should I care too much for 80+ Bronze vs Gold ???
