Need to know more on SSD and HDD

Hey guys, I recently got the Dell Inspiron 7559, it has 128GB SSD and a 1TB HDD storage capacity.

Is the Windows OS installed on the SSD by default? If it is not then how do I transfer it to the SSD?

Another question, when downloading a software or a game, is it being stored on the SSD or HDD? How to direct the download location to the desired drive?

Can I have tips on storing what all files in which drive?

Unless Dell is really foolish, the OS is on the SSD.

Put your OS and software on the SSD and if there's wnough room left, put your favorite games there as well. Put your less used files on the HDD.
