Need to Restore PC?

Hi,

My PC came with Windows 8 when I got it three years ago. Since then I updated to Windows 8.1. I now need to restore my PC via the "restore" option on PC settings as I have issues with it and it's the only way to fix it. The only problem is, when I try to restore it asks for recovery media so I put in the Windows 8 CD but it says that its invalid. I think this is because I've got Windows 8.1 installed and the CD is Windows 8. How can I go about restoring my PC?

Careful, it might not just be a OS that is bad. You may have a failing harddrive.
Though you can download a media creation tool, you can use DVD or USB (Highly Recommend USB).

Just make sure you backup everything you don't want to loose.

Hasn't been a problem since Vista I think, Plus the BIOS has the key built into it.
