Hello! My ssd is really acting up. And so I'm thinking of picking up a new ssd. What is the best flash type on the cheaper end? And what else should I know about picking a new ssd.
Thanks
Thanks
Oh god i forgot to say. I'm sorry. I'm looking for a sata ssd. What type of SSD?????? SATA ,M2 , NVME ...What can your board run!
Windows keeps getted corrupted and my ssd takes like 15-20 seconds to boot when before I got like 7-11 seconds. I contacted AMD and they said it does sound like it is a problem with my ssd. What leads you to believe the SSD is acting up?
Something small. My ssd now is 120gb. I just want Windows and drivers on it. So 120gb or 240gb works.Capacity ?
What did the SSD manufacturer say?Windows keeps getted corrupted and my ssd takes like 15-20 seconds to boot when before I got like 7-11 seconds. I contacted AMD and they said it does sound like it is a problem with my ssd.
15-20 seconds to boot up is NOT excessive. That is absolutely normal.Windows keeps getted corrupted and my ssd takes like 15-20 seconds to boot when before I got like 7-11 seconds. I contacted AMD and they said it does sound like it is a problem with my ssd.
They told me it was probably something with the controller. The SSD pins at 100% and freezes my computer. There is no way of fixing it. And I believe it's still under warranty but I have to pay money to send it over to AMD and last time I did that with my graphics card they ruined it. So I rather just buy a new one. It's a AMD 120gb r3 SSD.What did the SSD manufacturer say?
Is it still under warranty?
What make/model/size is it?
Okay thank you! And sorry for the troubles. If your on a budget , I would go with this 240GB :
And like stated above 15-20 seconds isn't bad at all. 120GB is a little low in terms of capacity.

Sorry I didn't respond to this. 15-20 seconds is normal. But I have nothing else but windows on there. It shouldnt take that long. Also after everything is installed I still have roughly 40gb left.15-20 seconds to boot up is NOT excessive. That is absolutely normal.
And given a 120GB drive...how full is it?
