nero and zip 8x4x32 crw

I get error messages for "bad media" and then it drops the write speed to 4x when burning CDR's on Nero. I tried all kinds of brands, maxell, pny, yamaha, tdk and zip. Any suggestions. I am using nero 5.? My drive seems to work fine in cdrwin and clone cd, but I do prefer nero for some things.

stab in the dark here, but try upgrading or reinstalling your aspi layer

Are you using 700MB discs? If so, try using a 650MB disk.
Or vice versa?

Have you tried other programs, and do they work?
