I Want to Put This in the R9000 with dd-wrt !

there are about 5 other routers I have my Eye on, and now I will do the Research about overclocking and what cpus can handle it, then I will run ALOT on the routers heavy loads mostly Suricata IDS /IPS
this is the best R7000 Hardware mod period, even the airflow on the revamped-case has been planned to go with the fins on both heat sinks as it pulls air in from the bottom and vents it through the top a push-pull setup as warm air rises and cool air descends so the air is distributed sideways which will cool the entire board down, This is GROUND WORK for other projects, projects I know others will be interested in.
What else can we run on these routers....
ipfire
pfsense
etc...
so this is a meaningful project because it allows myself and others to have ultra fast Tech for aftermarket firmware for 80% less...and we can return to the word HACKER in it's true and original definition.
a hacker to me is someone who knows a piece of equipment inside and out to where they make it there own, something that was designed for one thing but reprogrammed / modified to do other things.
because like i said before, this is the best hardware cpu cooler MOD I have ever seen on this router, Period.
The Goal is Clear...I am sorry you cannot see it !

Thanks for all your help on recommending A dd-wrt build with no overclocking restrictions !
Like I said before, this has been well planned and besides the inaccurate speed tests so far.
this has already been a useful project.

And you still have not done as asked. We have seen no documentation and real world numbers showing the difference between stock and modified. As the saying goes: "Put up, or shut up"
