Network Controller Driver

Hi All,

Trying to get my mum's laptop's wireless working, I uninstalled the Broadcom Networking Software.

The Network controller driver has gone and I can't find a replacement.I downloaded the Broadcom stuff from the Acer website but it doesn't installl the driver.

Where can I get anetwork controller driver for XP home, for this laptop?

The laptop is an Acer Aspire 5050.

Really greatful for any help as she hates me mucking up her PC.

can you connect the laptop via network cable and try to update the drivers for the wireless?
