I am new to the overclocking world. I have an i7 920 on a Gigabyte UD4P board with a Cooler Master V8 heatsync. I am running 12 gigs of DDR3 @ 1600 Mhz primarily on Vista 64. I have a Diamond Radeon 4890 and am going to get another one on Monday to run in Crossfire. My PSU is the SilverStone Stryder Series Low-Noise 1000 Watt PSU. I have never been able to keep my system stable at more than 3.2 Ghz for any amount of time. Can anyone help me set up a stable clock speed of 3.6 Ghz or better?

What's your vcore and temps at 3.2GHz?

You should be able to get to 190MHzx20=3.8GHz on 1.264 to 1.275V. It's usually the temps going beyond 70 degrees C that will pull you up. 3.6GHz should be achievable on normal voltages or maybe up one notch.
