Hey all!

I just got myself a msi geforce GTX 1080ti. To replace my evga geforce 960.

However upon updating bios (just to be safe) I've installed the new gpu and the mobo doesn't do its regular beep nor does Windows or anything load!

I've gone back to the old 960 with the new bios and all OK and boot up is good.

Everything is powered. All fans working, lights, ram and on the new gpu too. Just for some reason no actual start up... Any ideas?

I did put all my spec through power calculator and it seemed to be enough... I hope...

My build:

AMD FX-8370E 3.3GHz 8-Core Processor

Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 ATX AM3+ - Motherboard

Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 8GB (2 x 4GB) Hyper X 8GB
DDR3-1866 MEMORY (16GB in total)

Samsung SSD - 1TB 860 QVO (boot drive)

Samsung Spinpoint M8 500GB 2.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive

EVGA SuperNOVA GS 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 OEM (64-bit)

Did you check all of the small wire connection, like the power button 2 wire to the lower right corner of the board? I just (10 minutes ago) pulled a bunch of HDDs and knocked that loose along with a GPU power connector.

Anyway check all cable and wire connections.
If they are all fine, clear the CMOS.
