New 1440p Display, Highest Res is all pink!

So i connected with my DVI cable and the screen is all pink. At 1080p though, it is fine.

I assume i should upgrade to a better cable? my dual GTX 560 Ti's have mini HDMI. Is that the best connection? Mini HDMI to HDMI?

could be the dual, try to use single 560ti only.

I changed the cable to a mini HDMI > HDMI and now its normal, but the max setting i can set the resolution to is 1080p. The monitor can handle 1440p. The old monitor had a DVI cable... is that better? is both better? Or is the issue something else?

Ok... so this is what i've learned:

- The option for 1440p appears when i connect with a DVI cable, but not an HDMI
- When i use that DVI Cable, 1080 works fine, but if i switch to 1440p its all pink
- Same with SLI or SLI disabled.

Thoughts??

Try using HDMI and setting a custom resolution.
