Okay, I couldn't spend the time to read the last thread on this so I'll
just ask my question here.

I was looking at the card Tortured Confession, in my mind the only real
good use for it is in a Bruise and Bleed deck.

Has anyone bothered to put it in their deck?

No one.

I'm quite willing to give even Eyes of the Dead a chance, but I draw
the line at that....

Yes, even worse than that. That one might accidentally do pool damage
to your prey in a draft game or something.

Only if the prey does not use the edge.
but in thet case you have at least made someone lose the edge
tortured confession is a do nothing (well..ok almost nothing) that cost
you blood and is conditional

I use it for proxies all the time.

So no one considers it of value, say in... the common Brujah Prince
Deck Bruise and Bleed. (POT DOM)

You Bruise (i.e. torpor) use Tortured Confession to check their hands
for untaps/deflections/AI, and then Bleed accordingly.

You know what - I wonder if a Uriah Winter passing to my prey, becoming
Famous, and getting Tortured before I bleed for 7 deck might work...

That's been suggested on this forum before. I don't think it's a
completely terrible idea. However, so many decks, especially really
toolboxy ones like Eurobrujah, have tight builds and just don't have the
space for everything you might want. Adding Tortured Confessions might
mean you'll need to leave out a couple extra maneuvers for taking down
that gun deck or a couple bleed cards or some 2nd Traditions or rush
actions.

I know which cards I'd cut first.

Uriah just RULES when you Clan Impersonate him to Daughters and Concert
Tour with him. Try it sometime, you'll come running back here to post
how broken it is!

Man, it's a good thing he has to get a skill card and hunt before he
could play Clan Impersonation, but once he does that, it's unstoppable!
Even if you've got the intercept, he'll just play Daring the Dawn! Man,
it's just not fair.

Hey, that works brilliantly in my Edge Vitiation + Code of Milan Suspended
+ Parity Shift deck. Where I use Mummify for combat defense and Eyes of the
Dead to defend my Mummified minions.

I know no one's ever going to use Code of Milan suspended, but that no
longer works -- there's no longer a window to use effects between when
the political action is unblocked and when the terms are set, so the
edge can't be tossed for a vote before whoever had it is nominated to
take a point of damage.

Pshaw - he doesn't need a skill card; it's CLEARLY better to make him
an Alastor and give him the Ankara Citadel first.
