wish they would fix the issue where you completely loose a device that has
been set disabled prior to the flash. we have seen both the onboard gigabit
LAN and firewire go away after a flash, if the device was in the disabled
state prior to the flash.
this is the first board I ever had that had this behavior... it is certainly
recoverable by clearing the CMOS, which should be undertaken anyway, but
none the less, it is odd behavior.
