Hello,
Newbie here to Tom's and I have a question. I will be building a new computer (ASUS Terminator K7 Barebones)for my wife and I want to use the HD from another computer that already has her stuff and Win2K on it will I be able to just plug the drive in and go or do you think I should reformat and reinstall the OS? All other computers that I have built I have gone with a new HD and new OS.

Personally I would reformat and reinstall. So just backup the important data you want off of the drive and reinstall. Windows needs reinstalled from time to time anyhow ...
