New budget graphics unit.

Hi, i'm currently running an AMD Radeon HD7750 1Gb of ram.

I'm looking to update my graphics card since i get pretty weedy frame rates on certain games.
What would be a good gpu to upgrade to? my price point is around 150 euro's.
It needs to have at least 2gb's of ram.

get the gtx 750ti or the r7 265 those 2 cards are the best sub 200 euros cards 😀

You'd get pretty great performance for the price, but remember that you can also sell your old GPU as well.

Perfect. Too often people on this forum get beefy cards and try to run them on sub-par power supplies.

by the way you seem to know what you're talking about so please allow me to ask: does Ram have an impact on game preformance? say that a game requires 6gb of ram but you only have 4 does that have a significant impact on preformance?

Yes and no. Usually depends on the game. I've played some pretty demanding games on only 4GB of RAM. If you close all background programs it should run the game fine.

RAM speed also has an influence on how a game runs. 8GB is a sweet spot for RAM right now. Perfect balance between cost and multitasking.
