This is Canadian pricing so it will seem a bit high by your standards. I will be buying this week from infonec.com. My computer will be used mainly for gaming, internet surfing, but nothing too trivial. Also, I don't need it to run the latest games at full specs, just something that I could play Sims 3 and some oldies too like Battlefield 2 and such. However, how future proof is this? I am re-using a OCZ GameXStream 600 watt power supply and I do not need a keyboard, speakers, mouse, or monitor.
APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: ASAP
BUDGET RANGE: CAD Close to $700, tax included
SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, music, surfing and downloading
PARTS NOT REQUIRED: (keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS,power supply)
PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: infonec.com
PARTS PREFERENCES: None
OVERCLOCKING:Yes
SLI OR CROSSFIRE:No
MONITOR RESOLUTION: (right now 1280x1024)
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: How is this going to do overclocking on the stock CPU cooler? Any decent, worth it results?
Let me know what you guys think
Thanks in advance
