New Build. Any one have any input?

Hey Guys,

I am looking to build myself 2 computers that would be capable of gaming ( i currently play Borderlands, Darksiders, Fallout 3, Metro 2033, Battlefield Bad Company 2, and some older ones) and i was just looking for some input on if this particular setup would work. I usually play at 1920x1080 or 1280x720. I'm not after being able to max everything out but 30+ fps would be nice in either of the resolutions i play in. I already have hard drives and optical drives as well as the OS ( Windows 7 pro ). Thanks for any input guys. I'm looking to order it all from Newegg in the next week or so. Here are the parts:

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2GHz

Sapphire Radeon HD 6770 1GB GDDR5

MSI 870-G45 AM3 AMD 770 ATX Motherboard

G.SKILL Ripjaws 8GB DDR3 1600

Antec Earthwatts EA-650 GREEN 650W Power Supply

Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming Case ( i know this does not play a part but i put it anyway)

My budget is $500-600 for each computer. I also do some video encoding and school projects but this build will do those no problem. Any input is appreciated even if its suggesting different parts. I'm open for anything. Thanks in advance

Why not just buy i3 2100's for one pc then the other one you can OC your AMD phenom II X4.

Would the performance/cost be about the same? And other than that does everything look alright to you?

I mean gaming performance of i3 is amazing.
And i would buy a am3+ board prepares yourself for the coming of Bulldozer.

Not only that you have ivy bridge on the way to.
Little ivy packs a punch of according to intel 20% performance.

Alright. The motherboard i would get with it is about 50 bucks more so i would have to think about it a bit. Thanks for the input so far.

If i was in your shoes i would buy an am3+ mobo and a 1155 p67 chipset so in that way you will have no worries if one of them fails in performance.
