I bought components for a new system from Amazon and installed everything. Unfortunately it doesn't work. How to figure out what the problem is?
The power turns on. There are no beeps. The leds and the fans turn on. I can turn on/off num lock/caps lock. There is however nothing on the screen. The power and reset buttons work as they should.
The new components:
ASUS ROG Strix X670E-A Gaming WiFi
AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D
G.SKILL Flare X5 Series (AMD Expo) DDR5 RAM 96GB (2x48GB) 5600MT/s
SAMSUNG 990 PRO w/ Heatsink SSD 2TB
I didn't yet buy a new graphic card and for now installed my old gtx 1080.

How do I find the problem?

What is the basis for excluding the PSU?

Has the PSU been proven to work without problems in some other computer?

Overall "new" does not mean that a product will work as expected. Or that any given component, new or otherwise, has not simply failed in some manner.

For the most part many new products suffer from poor design, poor components, faulty assembly, improper installation, incorrect cables, etc., etc..

PSUs being one of those products.

By posting the PSU make, model, wattage, age, etc. someone else may recognize a known problem.

Remember that PSU's provide three different voltages (3, 5, and 12) to various system components.

Any failures in doing so means that something and/or the entire build does not work.

Beep codes:

Install a small speaker on the motherboard to determine if any beep codes are being generated.

The system works. However,
When I try to install Windows, it gets stuck on "Let's connect you to a network"
I connected a network cable, but it seems like the network adapter doesn't work or a driver is missing. Any ideas?
There is also another issue. It takes a lot of time to boot. I wonder what causes the delay and how do I disable it.

OK, I am making progress. This motherboard has some issues with setting up, but does seem to work if you search for solutions online.

Well,
The system works, however
The boot takes way too long. What can cause this?
Even worse, I can't enter the BIOS while using the graphic card. I tried it lots of times and it never enters the BIOS settings. I can enter the BIOS only if I use the integrated graphics. So I tried disabling the integrated graphics, hoping it will help, and now I can't enter the BIOS at all.
Also Windows doesn't like the hardware change and won't activate.
Any ideas about any of the problems?

Found a solution for entering the BIOS. Apparently older graphic cards need a firmware update to work properly with newer motherboards.
I think this is also what caused the original problem of the system seemingly not working. The update sorted this out.
Now I still need to figure out why the boot takes so long and the Windows activation problem.
