Hi Everyone,

So I build my dream setup recently and it's been issue after issue, I used following components:

  • Motherboard: Asus Crosshair Hero VIII
  • PSU: Corsair hx1200i
  • Graphics card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX™ 3090 VISION OC 24G
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
  • RAM: 2 x Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16gb and 2 x Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32gb

After building it initially it booted fine, I used it for 2 days and when I tried booting it in the morning I got error code 00 on the motherboard. I got it working again by changing the cables to CPU and GPU. I used the PC for a few days and after that (in the morning) I got error 00 again, but now it turned off immediatly. I have been having the same issue the last few days. This is how I can temporarely fix the issue:

  • Turn off PC and disconnect PSU and push power button for 2 seconds
  • Disconnect cables of GPU (also disconnect from PSU)
  • Turn on power (PC doesn't turn off immediatly anymore), turn power off after 30 seconds
  • Reconnect cables to GPU and PSU
  • Restart, now PC power ons normally without any issue

After this, it works again for a day or 2 and in the morning it doesn't boot anymore. I don't know if the issue is related to a faulty GPU or PSU, does anybody has some similar issues before? Or maybe it's something else entirely. Feedback is highly apperiated, thanks in advance!

Best Regards,
Felix
