  • CASE - CORSAIR - Carbide Series SPEC-DELTA RGB Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX
  • GPU - EVGA EVGTX 1060
I put this all together and everything seems to be in order. I have not installed windows yet. When I turn on everything powers up,, but my monitor just says no signal, which lead me to believe there is something screwy with my install. One huge red flag is that the the power button blinks constantly after turning it on. It does not seem like this is normal.
Diagnosis
I have checked and double checked all the case wiring to the mobo, it seems correct. I have also tried different HDMI cords and tried the HDMI ports on the PSU and the mobo. I tried a different RAM and I also removed the mobo battery to reset.
I am hoping someone is familiar with the blinking light issue as I feel this is my most relevant clue into what is wrong. Do you have experience what this is indicative of. I can post pics later tonight. Any thoughts?

thanks for answering, yes HDMI is hooked to GPU. i also took GPU out and connected to motherboard in case it tried to use onboard graphics card. I also slotted 1 ram in every slot and tried that as well. there are no LED indicators blinking on the mobo.

What is the make/model of your monitor?
Some monitors do not automatically select the active input.
You may have to explicitly select the input via the monitor's controls.

Have you tried a different HDMI cable?
HDMI cables do come with different performance capabilities.
But those differences are not likely to be the issue here.

thanks for the response, i've manually selected the input - the other input for my firestick works. i've tried multiple hdmi cables and tried a vga as well.
