Hey guys,

I'm thinking of making a new build and put one together on PCPartPicker and was wondering if the build would be any good. I would mainly be using it for normal internet activity, watching videos, listening to music and a bit of gaming.

CPU: Intel i5-4690K
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB
HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB
GPU: XFX Radeon HD 7850
Case: Corsair 200R
PSU: Corsair CX 600W
Optical Drive: Asus DRW DVD/CD Writer
OS: Windows 7

Note: I already have the graphics card from an old build so I don't need to get one of those.

Thanks for your help.

if you can look at micro center cpu and mb combo deals. you be better off holding off and picking up the newer skylake cpu and mb combos. with a skylake cpu and mb you be able to drop in cubry lake cpu if needed in 24 months. on the power supply get a better unit then cx line.

What do you recommend as a good quality PSU? Any around the same sort of price range?
