Do you need to buy OS: Windows 7 home premium (I have windows 8 on my laptop and I prefer 7)

Need help selecting mobo, as I'm not sure if it worth getting a Sabertooth Z77 for the build I am doing.
Also looking at a fan control panel (Not sure what they are called, due to the amount of fans in the Haf x and noise levels is a concern, but I'm not really that fussed about that, unless it sounds like a jumbo jet.)

paying way too much for motherboard drop down to an ASRock Z77 Extreme4

*BUT* you are doing video editing and photoshop you should up your CPU to an i7 it would be better than an i5 when it comes to Hyperthreading.

It is a LOT faster.
The only real sacrifice is that it features a rather generic case so assembling it will won't really be fun.And it's cooling performance is suboptimal but that can be fixed by adding a front fan.
