Solution
for a $1500 budget you have a $1700 build!! for gaming the x99 is a waste. you can save some cash on a new skylake cpu and put it into the gpu which for that budget should be at least a 980. you also have 2 wifi cards in the build. dropping the $100 one and the build is right on $1500 before rebates. i even left the massive and expensive cooler in the build :)

something like this perhaps.

could tinker some more and drop it a few more bucks but overall this is a better gaming build than the x99 one you chose. also changed out the psu to a cheaper yet high quality one. save a few bucks to go toward the gpu this way yet still more power than needed.

Solution
50 over budget, but you get an SSD for faster boot times, and a 980ti as opposed to the 980. Doesn't have the huge Air Cooler in the system, but unless you're planning on a big overclock it will work really well. If you wanted to be closer to the 1500 dollar budget you could always downsize the case to a ATX mid tower and save 20-30 dollars.
