Question New Build - Power but no display

Hey all. i just built a baseline system:
Ryzen 5600g
Gigabyte B550M K
2 8gb sticks of G Orion 3200 RAM
Thermaltake Smart 700w PSU (80 Plus rated)

I am getting power (the fans on the CPU, Case, and PSU all spin up, but no display on the monitor (using a DVI to HDMI cable). I feel like I am missing something. I have tried a CPU reset, RAM reset (A2 and B2 respectively). Could it be BIOS related? I read that the MOBO was compatible with the 5600g out of the box. Any help would be appreciated.

The DVI to HDMI , did you connect it to motherboard or to GPU?
It needs to go to a GPU.

Do you know for a fact that the cable works? Cheapo adapter cables are frequently junk, it's best to try and find something with an HDMI input while troubleshooting. The motherboard should work out of the box with this CPU.

I assume no GPU is involved? I'm hoping not given that dreadful PSU. I don't see one listed, but it's worth double-checking.

I connected it directly to the motherboard. I have a GPU I can test with.

Connected a GPU. Still would not show anything on the screen on power on. All fans spun up, including GPU fans.

Fans spin up continuously or for a few seconds? Do you see any lit up LED on MB?

They spin up and stay spinning.. MOBO doesn't have any LED's on it.
