Hey,

I just built a new PC, 5600x on b450 Tomahawk MAX 2, Kingston 16 gb DDR4, GT1030 2Gb GDDR5, and I get freeze at the boot screen (I can enter BIOS). My old build is fx8350 on 970A-UD3P, gtx650ti, 16gb DDR3 ram, I had 3 drives connected 1 HDD with win10, one SSD with win10 and a 4TB HDD, I had win dual boot. I took out an old HDD and installed a new WIN10 on it, it runs perfectly, so the new hardware is fine. So how do I fix the two win10s that I have so they work with the new build?

Thanks!

Thanks! That is the answer I feared, any way to try to get around that, or only a clean install will do? Can I somehow migrate the old system?
There is no magic.

Save your personal data off to some other drive.
Fresh install on the drive of your choice. To include all your applications, utilities, drivers, etc.
Install with only that desired drive connected.

You took drives from an old system, put them in the new, and it does not run properly?

That is a typical result.

A new system often/usually requires a fresh OS install.
