Hello,
A friend suggested I post here.
I did my first PC build and it keeps randomly restarting. It may last a few minutes or even up to 20, but it crashes out and restarts without warning. I updated the bios when I first started the computer. I installed a new copy of Windows 11. After starting up and registering Win 11 I checked for updates (I downloaded the Win 11 installer a couple hours before install) and then updated all of the drivers using ASUS’s Armory Crate. And then I ran GE Force Studio to update those drivers.
Please help. I really need to get some stuff done using this new computer, but I have no idea what is happening.
I checked the PSU cable. It looks good. The outlet it is using into is ok. And I looked at the connections of the PSU inside the case. I used Hwinfo 64 to check temps and there doesn't seem to be anything overheating.
I have grabbed a few event logs, but don’t know what to look for. I also included a snip of HWiNFO 64 screenshot

ASUS ProArt Z790-Creator Wifi
Intel i-914900K
RTX 4070 Ti Super
Corsair Vengeance 2 x 32 GB DDR5-5200
Solidign P44 Pro 1 TB SSD
Samsung 990 Pro 4 TB SSD
Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 TT premium 1000W 80+ Gold
ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 420 72.8 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Win 11 Home 24H2 26100.2454
I did have a BIOS level error CPU FAN speed detection error!
I installed the cooler cable into a fan header closer to where the cable originated on the cooler. I switched it to the CPU Fan header and that error has gone away.
